MALAYSIAN lawyer turned actor of Indian/Syrian Christian descent, Chacko got hooked on acting as an undergraduate at Cambridge University playing Othello and Siddhartha and in a musical pantomime at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

A versatile character and comic actor who loves music theatre, he has a rich baritone-bass singing and speaking voice, he was on Singapore TV as Sabo Singh in popular sitcom Mr Kiasu, he has guested on series like Growing Up, Living With Lydia and The Others playing roles from fiersome Prosecutor to mournful ghost.

Chacko is currently based in Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia.

Other theatre roles in Kuala Lumpur include King Arthur (Camelot), Capulet (Romeo & Juliet), Nehru (Sindhu-A tribute to Nehru), Director/Co-Producer/Singer (The Piano Bar Shows), Assistant Director (Savages), Multiple Roles (Five Fantastical Tales from Asia), and Instant Café Theatre Revues. He was in Twentieth Century Fox’s «Entrapment» with the speaking role of the Monetary Exchange Trader.

In demand for hosting diverse events from fashion shows to Kama Sutra parties, voice-overs, writing and corporate training, he is also a natural nifty dancer be it latin or bhangra. He is fluent in English, competent in Malay and speaks a smattering of Indian languages.
